Went to see a lawyer today.

So, I went to see my lawyer today and give her all the information that I had.  Our first court date is April 10th and we have to be ready.  Since, he is trying to get a quick divorce on cruelty-being a real ass-then it has already started with court dates.  My lawyer said since there is no proof of cruelty or abuse he is going to have a hard time proving it and if he takes the witness's that he says I can blow them out of the water with the information I have on them.  I told her I really didn't want to be that way and I just want it over.  I don't want all the name calling or bashing or anything like that.  Why does it have to be that way?  Can't we just say we don't love each other anymore and get it over with?  So she said she was going to call him and put an offer in for him to drop this case and go for an uncontested divorce.  We can work out all property issues and stuff.  I don't think he will go for it because he wants to make my life a living hell.  The only thing is he isn't doing it.  I will not let him.  Yeah, he might get me here or there but for the most part I don't let him bother me.  I also told the lawyer that I didn't want to fight for visitation with his kids.  If it was meant to be it will be and there is nothing he or I could do about that.  I also don't want to try and get him on having his affairs.  Just nice clean divorce with no problems is what I want.  I know it hasn't been long for us but I am just not wanting all those fights and stuff.  But if he backs me in the corner look out I will come out fighting and take them all down-so help me God.
