went to rn's with the charts//rn visited the house and loves it//found a sweater at the mall

went to richard's last night and fell asleep there after picking up animal supplies and groceries.   fed the animals and got small things done, like my shirts for work and a nice long soak.  lol.  and headed out to rn's to drop off medical info for the animals (i finally made copies of the charts for her, which go like, if the pooh is this color it means this and you use this medicine.  the old way DOES work, its amazing.    turns out she went with byron to see the house on saturday and LOVES the house - it has a HUGE brand new kitchen and the ENTIRE house is ceramic tiled and freshly painted inside and outside.  the a/c unit is missing (which if it was for me, i would love, i hate a/c).   the best part to her is the HUMONGOUS yard (3/4 of an acre with huge trees and privacy fenced all the way around.  the woman that owned it put a lot of money into that place, you can tell).  rn would want to get rid of her present house and go live in this one.  never expected that reaction AT ALL.  at the new place she would only be paying utilities, taxes ($400 per year) and insurance (mortgage and homeowners) totally appeals to her.  all of her other money would be her own and all the pressure and anxiety from having a tight budget would be gone.  byron would still want to be around if she was there, i can't tell what she thinks of that part.
rn now wants to leave her present house and do the no headache house a few blocks away with the great yard.  i said to her, your house here, is much prettier than the other house and your house is on a hill, so its a nicer view etc.  also she could move to the other house if she wanted to and rent out the house she owns now, there are a lot of options, no reason to "give it up" right from the get go.  she has two mortgages on the house she is in now.   it didn't occur to me that she would like the other house that much, i was viewing it as a sanctuary house for the animals.  she thinks i should property manage the good house for her, no questions asked kind of thing, as her present house is ideal for animal rescue.  its set up for it.  i thought she would want to keep both and rent out "part" of the other house as extra income.  it didn't occur to me she would want to go the other way around.
i visited the house this morning and noticed there aren't any cats on the street and that is normally a bad sign (like animal haters in the area).  a lot to think about, but she knows that area a LOT better than i do.  the minimum she could rent out to others, the house she is in now, would be for $750 and then you have to be a landlord which is often a headache.  its all up to her.  its her money.  the street for the other house isn't friendly.  there is a duplex on it as well as single family homes and apartments of some sort at the other end of the street.
money is very tight for her since she stopped nursing, (she hurt her back) that is the problem.  nursing is rough because you lift people all the time (i never thought of that part of that job before).  also brought her two loaves of pumpkin bread (kind of late) for t-day holiday and small photo albums from the auction, new condition, that i figured she would want for her animal photos.  everyone has those, except me.  i really should photograph the animals more, but since  all cameras became digital i barely use them.
rn babysits (the baby is lucky to have her because i think she adores that baby (age eleven months) [rn's only child died in infancy a zillion years ago and she and her husband tried to adopt a group of foster siblings age seven and under when they were living in california, that they had been taking care of for a few years.  they couldn't get custody of the kids before his job moved them back to new york - foster care would only release the oldest one and the oldest one watched out for the younger two, so she said no.  she says then after they are in new york a couple of YEARS, two of the kids became free for adoption.  foster care and the system is like that and its heartbreaking - she'd never do it again.    they didn't go back for the two, and by then her husband was having an affair and then they divorced and the laws are funny once you become single, even now.  wonder where those kids are now?  i told her she should go on line and just check and make sure they are okay.  they'd be about 30 now i think.
the animals are great with the baby she babysits.  amazes me when that happens.  she wanted to walk over to the other house with the baby, or drive over, to the other house and really get a look and call the realtor.  i would have loved to do that, except i still work.  people who stop working always forget that other people are working and have schedules.   she says byron loved the new house when he saw it.  he works for the condos up the road from it.  but he is in the middle of re-doing a condo for himself at the place where he works (not a good idea, because if people realize who he is they will bother him, if he is living there).
still got to go to the mall and shopped a little.  found a cotton/cashmere pullover on sale, and sheers for the window downstairs.  strained the muscles in my neck from sleeping on the loveseat, so now i'm at work and i have bengay stuff on it, so i wreak i am sure.  lol.

Have you ever used that Icy Blue Stuff, it is cold going on and then warms up. I use it on my back all the time.

RN has lots to think over. The property sounds wonderful. It was great of you to do that med info and pass it on to others for helping them.

Have a great Day. Hope the neck is better! XXOO

Like you, I would stay where I was but if she likes the other house it\'s really up to her what to do. It\'s great what you all do for the animals. Yeah, bengay is great but smells. I find with me heat helps a lot. Used those heat pads a lot when I was working. Hugs!!

I don\'t take a lot of pictures anymore either with all this digital stuff, just too much trouble. I only have the one housecat, Willow. She\'s an Egyptian Mau, and believe me, if there\'s one cat that\'s picture worthy, it\'s Willow. What a beautiful, smart cookie she is. Just thinking, I need to get her nails cut.

Glad you got out and got a sweater and some shear! Ya have to take a break for do stuff for yourself too, ya know.

Ben-gay! I grew up on the smell of that stuff. My mom used to have migraines and she used it all the time. The whole house just smelled like it! Actually, I think we all got used to it, and would still be brought back to good memories if I smelled it again. Yep, makes me think of mom. Oh, and it works!!
