Went home to RI for a few days

I went to visit my family in RI this week and now I remember why I wanted to leave in the first place. My family drives me crazy!
When I'm around them my time is not my own - I cannot make plans because one or more of them will take over and my plans will fail and I will get upset. I end up wasting alot of time, especially driving around to meet them only to have a miserable time because we are doing something that they want to do and not anything I want to do.
I wanted to start a new life up here, but I haven't done it. I'm so conditioned to other people running my life that I don't know how to do it myself! Unfortunately, I brought one of them with me and he runs my life when he cannot even run his own properly.
None of them knows me any better than I know myself...
