Hope that my weight get back down....again!!! I've gone back up btween 180 & 183. I have RA and so the rheumy has me on prednisone(low dose), I'm not a big eater....its just the meds. My rheumy says that she as going to take me off of the preds as soon as I make up my mind to get that right hip replacement.She'll take me off of the -preds & start me on that Orencia. I don't mind no more preds, but I'm very skeptical of the Orencia, because of a bad episode with Enbrel. Wish there was a cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis....then maybe no more meds at all. Back in "07" in June I went into remission!!! No pain whatsoever, felt like a new person. It felt GOOD. No aches or pain, until December of the same year it came back with a vengeance I had to get back on preds & even more meds.

Sorry to hear about the weight. Oh dear looks like you may have to get the hip replaced. Assume you have financial cover for it or it will be truly painful! Remissions happen - maybe more than once? How much prednisone is low? Doesnt take much to become a nuisance... but can be worse without. Keep us posted.
