Well, there goes another $300.
Difficulties - I consider them training lessons. Got home to let the dogs out at lunch today and there was a message on my answering machine.... The van has to have a brake control put on it to control the camper so I should contact a dealer, AND the new lights I put on it with a hitch? Yeah, well, they need to be different. Oh, and the mirrors so that I can actually back up won't be in on time. The guy suggested I buy them online...
So first, I called my FAVORITE mechanic... asked if that brake control was something he could do for me? Yup. How about the lights? Yup again - he takes such good care of me, lol... it goes in next Wednesday (the 24th) and SHOULD be much cheaper than the local dealer - cross your fingers it's done snowing by then as we're expecting another foot of snow tomorrow and it's going to take all day to install everything so I have to ride my bicycle to work (6 miles one way).
And the website the camper guy told me to order the mirror from? They don't sell, just ship to dealers and since I seem to live further away than Alaska, lol, there's no local ones - within 100 miles. BUT, there IS one in Missouri online so I took a chance. It should be here by Friday.
So, am I frustrated? Nope.... because right away I realized that when I get the business up and running, I'm going to have to deal with the same kinds of frustrations and patience is NOT one of my strong suits. This is GOOD PRACTICE. LATER!

Very positive attitude, I love it :)
Wonderful! You are right! It is good training. There will always be headaches and problems to deal with.
I probably have that brake control on my truck. The adjustment for whatever you are towing is pretty easy. There always seems to be that extra thing you need because you bought something. You do have a positive attitude.
You are such a good source of encouragement for me. Really! Got a lot to learn from you!
