Well... It's been two days..

Well, we talked for like 10 minutes. I told her I had been deeply depressed and she said she'd been pretty depressed too. She said she felt really bad about flaking out on me that day and she could tell it really bothered me and asked if it would make me feel better to grab a few drinks with her. I reluctantly said yes.
THAT was two nights ago. I wound up spending the last two nights with her and OMG!! Like I said before, when we're together we just seem to click. We're good together and the way she looks at me, kisses me and holds me, it really does seem like her feelings for me are truly genuine. Just spending a few minutes with her seemed to brighten her up amazingly! She seems so happy and relaxed with me now and I definitely feel a lot better myself.
To my complete surprise, things are most definitely going really REALLY well with her. She warned me that she's going to need to take some time to herself soon and I will respect that but I'm so excited to see where this goes! FINALLY! :D <3 @>-

There's only one potential downside.... She MIGHT actually have a drug problem after all. I tried heroin (free based, not injected) with her for the first time (which is partly why the first night we made love I couldn't really function as well). I don't believe the heroin is her problem though, it's her prescription meds that seem to be the problem. She does them way WAY too much! Particularly ritalin. These drugs seem to be really messing with her BADLY. I'm going to ask her to cut back on them because they really do seem to be effecting her negatively in ways that I don't think she's noticed. The psychological effects seem to be very similar to meth! I've seen someone destroy herself with meth. I really REALLY don't want to see her continue on like this. It seems unsafe. I'm glad she's not doing a lot of heroin, which I'm sure is also part of the problem too but she was doing it pretty often. In her defense, it was a gift from someone and she really didn't have a whole lot so she was only doing tiny amounts at a time.

I should add, although I did enjoy heroin it\'s really not a drug I\'d be interested in doing generally and the high just isn\'t worth it. I enjoyed myself with her A LOT more without it. I can see why it\'s addicting, and I would probably be more interested if 1) I didn\'t already know two ex heroin addicts and 2) I wasn\'t dating someone. This stuff would be GREAT for someone single who had been single for WAY too long (yes, like me!) It\'s just not necessary and recreational use seems counter productive to having a good time with my new girl :)
