Well Im a little worried

I have only been on bcp for 2 weeks and I started spotting today... My period isnt due for another 2 weeks... So I called the doc and Im waiting for a call back.. My periods are very regular and now since I started the bcp I have spotted 2 times already... I hope its not doing more harm then good.. Has ne one else experienced this?

Sorry to hear about this, I don\'t spot on BCP, so I can\'t help, but I wouldn\'t think that it\'s doing actual harm. Since you have cysts, your body just might react differently too the extra hormones and you are only to be on it a month, so I\'m guessing after that you\'ll go back to normal. But good call, to call the doctor.

Thanks I hope they call back soon I dont like not knowing whats going on when im so used to getting it on the exact time and day each month to now this..

It\'s been a really long time since I was on BCP (I went on them to regulate my abnormal cycles when I was 20), but I remember in the beginning that I would spot occasionally before I was due to start my period. Calling the doc is always good, just to make sure.

Hope everything is okay. I was worried too when I started bleeding on the Ganirelix. Sometimes are body does strange things with all these medications and changes.

ya its making me nervous cuz i just had my period 11 days ago and now I am spotting as if its coming ne day.. go figure the doc never called me back

I would say its due to hormonal changes. I wouldn\'t worry about it. I think the woman\'s body tries to adjust to many changes. Like did u know if u are around several females for a long period of time, most of the time the women\'s periods will adjust to match up with eachothers\'......they will come early or late so they are on the same time with the other females. I discovered this in boot camp and did some research that it is true. Strange but true. With that said, it never hurts to bug ur doc with any questions....that\'s why they get the big bucks.....
