Well..darn!
I heard from the pulm's office. It seems that they liked me so well on my first sleep study that they want me back for another one. This time though I'm to get fitted out... or adjusted... or something... for a CPAP machine. They said that the first study showed that I have "significant" apnea. Well,.. that's all right then. I mean anyone can have run of the mill apnea. By their very words, mine is SIGNIFICANT. It's nice to be recognized! I also figure that wearing that silly face mask at night may have some upsides too. Aside from helping me breathe and sleep better...it should protect me from alien abduction! (Didn't see that coming, did you?) When the little green men enter my room, they'll see the mask and all the equipment and will be frightened away...or figure that I'm one of their own and move on. So even if you don't have apnea, you might want to get a CPAP. It's your choice I know...but if you wake up on a flying saucer..don't say that I didn't warn you.Be well,Tom
