Welcome to the World!
After what seemed to be a "normal" twin pregnancy, I gave birth to my beautiful baby girls on Sunday, January 22. They were 33 weeks 3 days on their birthday. Both girls are doing well. Harper weighed 3 pounds 8 ounces and Johnna was 5 pounds 3 ounces.
My blood pressure went out of control last week, putting me in the hospital on Friday. The nurses seemed surprised that I made it to Sunday for my c-section. It was nothing like I had planned, but that seems to be common with trying to conceive and giving birth.
Both girls are currently in the NICU. It breaks my heart to think about going home without them, but I know they are in good hands and need some more time to develop and grow. Every day they make progress. I was even able to breast feed both girls today. I'm in love!
