weirdness
I had a strange episode today, had been up for a coupe of hours, and had showered and tidied up and was just sitting down to watch tv when I noticed I had some vision changes. It started out just like I had looked at a light and that in my vision field and then it changed to a 'c' shape and it was prismatic and sparkly, it seemed to be moving from right to left and finally moved completely to the left and sort of faded to a cloudy spot in my up left field of vision. Then it went away and left me with a headache. Is this some new symptom or just a fluke or a side effect from the meds. Another question for the docs.

Could that be one of the infamous \"floaters\" that occur in a person\'s eye on occasion??????
THey are sort of \"C\" shaped.......but I didn\'t think they normally went away as such...
no this was different, I\'ve had floaters before. It was really strange. I still have the headache and it\'s been hours since it happened. It seems to be just one more weird symptom to add to my collection....lol
I have had these also. I couldn\'t have described it better myself, mine did not fade to a cloudy spot, it just went away. I think they are called optical migraines. Be sure and ask your doc.
do they hurt like a migraine? Cause I only had a headache, not a migraine.
I don\'t think they hurt at all, it\'s the optical effects only, but seems like a headache can follow if I recall, my daughter had them years back.
It\'s a migraine. I used to get the C shape imagines followed by a headache but now.... just the imagines and eventually they go away.
Next time this happens, close one eye and see if it clears. If you still see the prisms with both eyes close, then it probably is a migraine; at least that is what my opthamologist told me. The MG causes a lot of vision problems so I hardly ever know which is causing my issues. There doesn\'t have to be pain with a migraine, I also asked that question.
