Weekend Blues

I am really having trouble feeling motivated to do anything right now.   Then again, I am probably entitled to some down time or an opportunity to recharge.  I spent most of the morning and some of the evening playing piano for varying and assorted paying gigs.  I was asked if my fingers were sore (which they aren't) but I tell ya - my left elbow are is shot.  I cried out in pain just reaching for the table to get my non-caffeinated soda. My husband was finally able to color my hair for me.  He does a good job and I have so much trouble reaching everywhere by myself.  I have always hated that I started to go gray in my mid-twenties.   My sweetie, God love him, truly doesn't seem to notice how much white shimmers in the auburn. So tomorrow morning I am supposed to play bass with praise band.  I have a nasty suspicion that tomorrow morning will not be pleasant.   I know that my family will help by carrying it in for me and getting me to the car and stage, but then I am on my own during the rehearsal and the service.  At some point, I won't be able to take the bass  off and on during service.   No matter how badly I feel on a Sunday morning or a Thursday evening, I always go under the assumption that God will make sure I get through it.   I wouldn't have the talent if I wasn't supposed to use and I figure He won't leave me hanging up there.   On Monday I FINALLY get to go to the Fibro class at the hospital and meet the Fibro specialist there.   I was originally supposed to be scheduled Jan 11, but that was also supposed to be th day we closed on selling the house, so I asked to move it to the next date - Jan 25.   The computer ate that reservation so I have been very eagerly awaiting the 8th of Feb.  I'll have to make another journal entry if I learn anything good, but I hope this class is not two hours of "exercise and relax".  THAT much I know.  I have learned an incredible amount in the last 6 weeks. Until then, cyber-fibro-friends!
