Week End

Yesterday I decided to go use the pool at the apartment building I'm yet to move into.  It was nice just to put my headphones on and relax.  I'm suppose to go over and see the apartment this evening after they were to do a deep cleaning today.  I am prepared for the worst but expecting the best. If the whole building is infested, there is no way they will ever get rid of the bug problem.

I instacarted a little on Sat.  I am torn about my cat Sammy.  At Roomies, he has a huge house to run around in and he has his sister Lefty.  Is it fair to take him from this to 500sf with me being gone most of the time? He knows somethings up because he won't leave my side.  Roomie thinks he should stay at his house and said I could come visit him anytime.  Sammy has been my rock and gives me alot of unconditional love.  It's a hard decision but I ultimately need to do what's best for Sammy.  Today is only Monday but I'm trying to figure put a way to get through the week.  To all, a happy nonchaotic week!

You could wait until you get settled in and then revisit what makes sense for Sammy. It’s so hard to leave pets. I get that.

How to get through the week... one day at a time I suppose. I had a pretty rotten work week last week, lots of ups and downs, quite a bit of unexpected issues and stress. Fortunately, it ended on a decent note so
I’m going to try to carry that through this week. So I agree, here’s to a non chaotic week!

Yup, non-chaotic is good. My standard response to, "I'm bored" is, "I'm jealous."

Here's to hoping the move-in setbacks don't mark the inglorious end to the drive for an independent life. Just hoping. . . Independence isn't for everyone. Continued support and healing hopes, whichever way you take it.

Haha! Ain't that the truth. When my stepdaughter was an insufferable 13 year old, many years ago, she used to say all the time, "I'm BORED." I would reply "only boring people are bored," but I wish I had said I'm jealous instead if just to amuse myself.

It does, indeed, bring an abrupt end to that particular childish gripe classic.
