Hello all. I hope you are all doing alright. Enjoying the last bit of summer. Haven't written for awhile. Went off the Pristiq in mid July after 8 weeks. It was of no help. All I seem to get out of meds is the side effects and I am so very tired of that. So, I am trying a oxygen test to see if I have sleep apnea.
I saw my medical doctor today. I had trouble walking and they had to have a nurse bring me a wheel chair. I am so out of shape I can't walk for long or even stand up straight because my left leg won't work. The muscle is cramped up from lack of use. Pretty pathetic, huh?
Doctor said if I don't get better I may have to move into a nursing home. I am having the oxygen test, have to start doing physical therapy, have to start using a walker, and have to have a home nurse come see how I might get me a full bath.
I just haven't cared for the last two years and this is what it has come down to. Taken quite a toll on me. I used to mountain bike and got around pretty well. Hopefully I will commit and stay with these things and try to improve my body. I am only 62 and feel like I am 80.

I\'m so sorry to hear that you are doing so poorly. I pray that something helps you but please don\'t give up, 62 isn\'t that old, I\'m right behind you at 58. I know how you must feel at times but never give up hope, at least that\'s what they tell me, lol. You make sure you do everything that\'s asked of you, you don\'t want to wind up in a nursing home. I have faith in you, you can do this.
