Wedding NIGHTMARE, I survived!

This week was INSANE.   Bridesmaid ordered dress 2 sizes too small, yes, I altered it, quite creatively, WHEW!  This was on a THURSDAY AND THE WEDDING IS ON SATURDAY!!!!! Then got to the wedding and another bridesmaid dress strap broke, so I whipped out my sewing kit and again WHEW!   Next bridesmaid hair went limp with no curling iron. No problem, got some styling gel and asked for bobby pins to do pins curls.  She had no clue what pin curls were! LOL LOL LOL  No bobby pins so I said "no problem, I have paper clips"  Yep, fixed the hair.   Another bridemaid disaster as shoe straps were not working.  NO PROBLEM!  Whipped out the sewing kit again and sewed the straps on the shoes.   Check on the bride.  Dress not right.  OK, so I fix the bride's dress and it was great!  So pretty.  OK, so FINALLY WE GET TO DO THE WEDDING.  Oh, the fun don't stop there.  Reception.....bridesmaid trips over cord knocking over fountain.  I grab said fountain to save the cake.  Cake saved.  Yeah me!  But water from fountain is everywhere.   Then the clean up and sit for the grandson so they could honeymoon.  OH PLEASE.  I suggest elopements.....very romantic, less stress and just send the postcards!  LOL  Really, posted the pic and it was great.  The best part, my son thought of me and had Rod Stewart's "Have I Told You Lately that I Love You" play at the reception and we danced our dance together.  One last time of holding my "baby".  Now ain't he just wonderful!!! My body tho is now officially dying from the overload but it was sooooo worth it all!
