Wed Sept 7

Today was a good day, no fighting or crying (yet) but its only 8pm and the nights are the hardest.  I have been on the verge of tears a few times today but am trying to be positive and realize that what I need has to come first.  I can not wallow in my sadness and ignore what needs to be dealt with.  I have to admit to myself that I was not happy, I had lost myself over the years and did not like the bitter, angry, bitchy person I was becoming.  I know I have to work towards finding myself again and becoming happy no matter what happens with my relationship.

that is a really good place to be-it sounds like you have a really good head on your shoulders. I wish you well on your journey back to yourself

This is really GREAT to read! I\'m really happy that you\'re allowing insight and introspection to lighten the pain a bit. Be gentle with yourself though. It\'ll be 2 years in November since my loss, and I still cry at least once a week. Crying is simply a healthy, normal release of emotion ~ the \'result\' of your deep sadness and confusion. So, allow yourself to just be here, feeling and seeing life as it is. And, keep up the good work hon. ((hug))
