Well it has been a busy little day!
I got hubby up at 4am like normal. Then I got up at 5 am since I had to run son to work extra early today as his crew was going out of town for the rest of the week. We left the house about 5:45 am and I was finally home about 6:30 am after making an extra run between the house and work.
I took son's gf to get an update on her one vaccination. While she was in getting her shot, I had both the gd's ( 5 yr old and 4 month old) in the vehicle with me. That is always interesting! LOL
Then we went and dropped off son's movies and picked up a few groceries. I picked up some chips & sandwiches for the 3 of us for lunch today. It was a simple and fast lunch but it hit the spot.
After we finished eating and relaxing a little, we got ready to head to the elementary school. The oldest gd will be in kindergarten this year. Today was the day we got to find out who her teacher was, where her class was located, etc. Of course, it helps that I work part time in the building!
GF went with us and walked gd through her morning routine of coming into the building after getting off the bus, going to breakfast, and then to her classroom. So we will see how well she does tomorrow morning with everything! Gd will then ride the bus home and get off and go to a Christian youth group for kids until 5pm. GF is going to double check for me that gd gets to and from the group as hubby & I have drs appt out of town tomorrow.
I had bought a dozen ears of fresh corn on the cob this morning. So tonight for supper I had to shuck it, clean it, and cook it. It tasted really good! We have enough for another batch tomorrow night also.
I am ready for gd to go to school but would really like to have a couple of days home alone without her! HA HA HA!! Oh well.....tomorrow will be an interesting day, especially when gd comes through the lunch line and sees me. She knows I work there and that I will be in the lunch room.
On the health side of things, I have been tired and a little short on breath off and on. Last night, I even had a small panic attack when I went to bed. My body was tired but my mind was going 100 mph thinking about all the things I needed to do, should do, employment changes, etc. I finally was able to calm down and fall asleep. So a few small hiccups this week with the health. I just hope the next couple of days go well as I try to get back into the routine of things.
