Weather is too hot already!
Hello my friends! I dont journal much, like to keep my petty problems to myself. But just felt like I had to say something. The oil spill is causing me major grief and the weather is already too hot for me. Ok I got that out of my system on the the good stuff!
My husband has been doing improvements to the house and boy what a difference already. We have all new windows! Most of them were the original ones when the house was built in the 60's! And they do look great with all new blinds too! The house painting is about halfway finished and also new mail box and lights!
It's hard though to enjoy the outside with heat ,mosquitos and termite swarms! But when summer ends I will enjoy it again.
You see it feels hotter down here because we have high humidity and more days of hot weather than most of the U S OF A. NOt that I'm not thankful for the longer cool spell we had but it was colder than we have had in a long time! And now I feel I have to get reaclamated to our hot summers again!
I probably wont but I can pretend cant I?

Ok..here its cold and rainy..or cloudy. We are longing for the sun. We get some moments when its out. But we dont get one day with sun..not yet. I dont know which is better..so I guess we just have to take what we get..right?
Glad that everything is fine otherwise..here it is,too. My son is here from college for the summer and I am very glad! I miss him when he his gone. He will help to empty our big house and they it will be sold. My former husband is in his new apartment and doing ok. My kids are really great..I must say. They have done it all up to now..and now Mick is here to help out. Anyway..hope your weather gets a little cooler ;) The oil spill is wful..there are NO words to say what this is adequately. Its a crime anyway..by the whole world and above all, BP. Hugs, dear friend!
