I have no idea what they base their "averages" on???

Yeah, meteorologists are funny, aren\'t they? A lot of times here, they could just say \"tropical storms expected\" - it\'s what happens from June through August, LOL.
I hope you get a break from the extreme heat. I think it has to be a steady rain with so many inches at once to make a difference.
I think they just say crap to attempt to stay relevant! When you can get the real time weather 24/7 from the internet do we really need \"meteorologist\'s\"? I haven\'t watched the local news since the 80\'s :)
It was 107 when I was in Kansas last weekend.....way TOO HOT!!! I can sympathize
My weather is easy to predict. Sunny, hot and dry in the summer. Sunny and cold in winter. Spring and fall only last a day or two so we don\'t worry about them. lol
It\'s when you add the \"heat index\" because of humidity.......and realize you are as hot as other places......although the temp is lower......We love Louisiana (not in the summer!!!)
