We've been exposed to Covid19. i have some updates. beginning Quarantine period
Hi angel friends, we have a family update to share, from us all, that is a serious update. my mom recieved a call this morning from my niece Alyssa. The Triplets, Brayden, Colby, and Jacob, have all tested postive for Covid19. Alyssa, family, along with Kayla, went to the amusement park on sunday. Kayla and Taylynn were exposed. Lisa took Kayla to get tested earlier, she recieved a rapid test, Kayla tested positive for covid19. my mom went in to get tested around 11am, my mom tested negative. my mom's doctor, gave her some tips. he told her, that a family that has been exposed, needs to first and foremost, quarantine. Also, to take vitamin C and Vitamin D, to wear a mask as much as we can. my mom updated us, and said that her doctor told her, it's possible, that the rest of us, may not have/catch covid, and that a 2 to 14 day period is very important time period.
We aren't able to pin point where the triplets got covid, but sometime between friday/saturday/sunday, into this week, as Kayla and Taylynn wasn't around the triplets until sunday, my mom has alerted Jenn, family, Bobby, and family also. We aren't 100% sure, where the triplets got covid19, it was either from exposure at school (they go to in school) or maybe from Aj, as he hasn't felt well lately, and got out of work for a whole week, and the triplets haven't been over here to visit, since May 3rd or 4th. they weren't here on baking friday, but Jenn and the kids did come over. Aj did take the kids to his parents house friday afternoon/evening. we aren'tsure if they got exposed there. Kayla isn't experiencing any symptoms, and is quaranting in her addition.
This news all began to break here, around 9:45am, when Alyssa called my mom. Alyssa texted negative. she has had the vaccine. Brody is going to get tested, and Aj too. Taylynn may get tested also. this is all coming in very fast, and we're trying to wrap our heads/minds around this all. Our plans are, to do what my mom's doctor suggested.
currently, none of us are experiencing any symptoms, and are going to follow my mom's doctor's orders, to quarantine, take vitamin C, Vitamin D, and wearing a mask around our house. this is tough to write, but wanted to make sure we alerted you all, our dear angel friends, and to let you know we're here for you all too, through these times. we're planning to keep to our daily routines, schedules as much as we can, as close as we can, times like baking friday, it'll be Holly and i baking, most likely for a couple weeks. we need to keep positive during this time. Alyssa is very upset, and feeling bad, that we all have been exposed. We face things and times as a family, and we all will make it through this as a family. Holly has asthma, we all are being extra careful, and will continue to monitor how we feel. This news and exposure has happened so suddenly, like a snap of a finger. we're all hanging in there, and being strong. Holly and i have our downstairs appartment, where we are most of the day, unless we go up to see my mom, dad, family for short amounts of times, or going outside. Kayla's addition is to the right of our kitchen. Kayla is very upset, she was exposed and got covid. Lisa's texting her. thankfully no symptoms. it's just upsetting, as you see/hear stories on the news like this, and we're now living it, but we gotta keep hopeful, and strong. we're a family and we're in this together <3
We need our days to be as normal as can be. We're gonna wear our masks more, and will keep up with our normal routines with nature walks in our yard, gardening, taking pictures :) we need that, i personally need that a lot too. we all have been very careful, since the pandemic began, and as careful as we have been at times, we still got exposed. We're hoping, and praying all of us will be ok, and eventually will recieve the vaccine. i just wanted to update you all here, our dear angel friends. You all are like family to us, always there :)
We're not panicking at all. Our goals, and plans, are to keep safe, more alert than ever, wearing our masks more, taking vitamin C, vitamin D, and are going to make it through this :) by late May, early June, we'll be past this time. i'll always be here, and love spending time here on DS, it's a big comfort, especially during rough times. Thank you all for sticking with us, for always being here for us, and for keeping us in your thoughts, and prayers :) We love you all! :) i will keep everyone updated.
Big group comforting and caring friendship hug <3

Hi Chris and Holly. John and I also had to do a quranteen a while back when we were exposed through a friend. Neither one of us got the Covid 19. You guys will do just fine. Are the kids sick? I hope not. If they are we will pray all goes well for them.
Take care and have a great rest of the week. Will keep your family in our prayers.
Hugs
John and Debbie
Thank you Debbie :) We appreciate you all, our dear friends, and are so glad, and thankful you and John were ok, and thankfully didn't get covid. it's very scary, getting exposed. Thank you for your well wishes, and prayers for us all <3
my niece Alyssa told my mom, Brayden wasn't feeling well, and she took all 3 triplets to get tests, and they tested positive. they aren't sure where the kids were exposed, and got covid, We're very hopeful they'll be ok. Kayla who tested positive, doesn't have any symptoms, thankfully.
Holly and i just got some fresh air, we went out our back door, and did some gardening in the sunshine, which was also very comforting :)
We're all hanging in there, being cautious, careful, and will definitely keep everyone updated. You all are wonderful friends :) i'm going to write another journal later, and will post pictures:) during these current times, will continue to keep to our normal daily festivities, best we can, writing, posting pictures :)

I am soo sorry this has happened to your family. The new variant is even more transmissible. Do you & Holly plan to get tested? Prayers go out to you & your entire family. Stay Strong & keep us updated. Gentle hugs....Brooke & Henri
Oh wow!
Its so encouraging to hear that you have such a wonderful support team behind you. I'm happy to hear it. I'm just going to miss "baking Fridays" for a little while.
My oldest daughter and her family got a very mild case of it. Thats whats frustrating. You hear only the bad news. None of the upbeat hopeful stuff.
Because I'm on dialysis and am in very poor health, I was one of the first to receive my. Vaccine. Very high on the CDC list. Got my Vaccine through the clinic.
Doesn't make me immune. Just less likely to get bad case. I still do mask in public and take precautions. Doesn't guarantee not catching it. Just calms my nerves a little.
