We took your Ashes to your Favorite Place today
Saturday mornings was your favorite time! You would always wake us up because you wanted to go to the Silver Comet Trail...your Favorite Place. We always said that when you passed we would bring your ashes here. That's exactly what we did this morning. Just like so many Saturday mornings before, we got dressed and took you for your walk on the Silver Comet Trail. This time tears rolled down my face because you weren't pouncing beside me on your leash. When we got to the clearing where you would run after squirrels, we prayed and layed your ashes. I know you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Rest on my Love.

Your post brought tears to my eyes. I can feel the love between you and Cookie. You are so amazing and brave going to her favorite place and leaving her ashes! I am still afraid to open the bag that Lady\'s box of ashes came in and I\'ve had them for almost 3 months.

I did feel so much at peace when we were leaving Nancy. I knew in my heart that this is where Cookie belongs. She was always her happiest when she was there. That to me was a no brainer. I pray that you find peace with Lady. Thank you for always chatting with me. Hugs right back at cha...
