We told the kids!

I hope we didn't jinx it. But it was getting harder and harder keeping it from them and I was afraid they would here my husband and I talking about it. They were all very happy and had tons of questions.  We showed them the ultrasound picture and  they just thought it looked like a gummie bear or blob (exact words from my 8 year old) My daughter said she is going to pray for a sister. (She has 4 brothers already) Then they wanted to get all their baby books out and look at their ultrasound pictures. That was pretty neat to do. I really hope nothing goes wrong because not only will My husband and I be crushed but so will the kids. I would of really liked to have waited until 13 weeks  but like I said that was getting harder and harder.  Are next ultrasound is this friday.  Praying everythings goes well. And then I see the doctor the following Wednesday.  Thank you all for you prayers and support.

I will continue praying that all goes well too! It is completely understandable that you had to tell them and there is nothing you can do to jinx the pregnancy!

Everything will be fine. :) Congrats on 10 weeks! We told our boys (ages 4 1/2 and 3 at the time) at around the same time, 10 weeks and I am now 35w5d and everything is going great. I am sure your pregnancy will work out just fine and in 7 months or so you will be holding your little miracle! :)

That\'s about the same time we told our kids too. It\'s hard when they are older and can overhear conversations but I know what you mean about not wanting to jinx anything. I still feel that way and I\'m 28 weeks. I\'ll be thinking of you tomorrow.
