We need to get a new portable AC. Going to walmart today :)

Good morning angel friends :) i'm writing an early journal with some updates. We've been having some issues with our portable AC, since saturday.Holly and i have been working on it, and looking up information online about possible fixes, for the AC. it's an LG portable AC, we've had it since July 2019. This past friday, around 1:45pm, we heard a loud pop outside, it was a transformer up the road from us over by the college, a tree or some branches fell, and some lines were down up there. our power was out for about 45 minutes that afternoon. it thankfully went back on, and we baked goodies after the power went back on. since saturday, we noticed our AC was beeping, and changing from  AC to Fan, and also the auto fan vent was moving back and forth. we looked up some information about it. sunday evening, it got stuck on AC mode, and felt very cold down here, we had to unplug it. we thought it was a power surge issue, we did all of the steps, to see if it would be ok, including unplugging it, pressing the reset button, cleaned the filter, drained the water. yesterday it got stuck on fan mode, and eventually turned off, and hasn't turned back on. we looked up lots of information about the AC, and we think this one may have run it's course. Holly and i were talking with my mom and dad yesterday evening, we're gonna go to my bank this morning, and then going to walmart, we're very hopeful to find a good new portable AC over there, and if we buy one, we'll install it today. We really loved this portable AC we've had since 2019, it's been really nice one, and feel sad that it's not working. i'll definitely keep everyone updated. if walmart doesn't have one, we might try another walmart, or the appliances store here in our city. We're keeping our fingers crossed that walmart will have a good one for our downstairs apartment :) 

We hope everyone is doing well, and wishing everyone a nice day :) We're gonna have our sweet treats tuesday breakfast, and brewing some vanilla iced coffee :) i'm going to write a journal for this evening too, with updates on our portable AC situation, and hopefully we'll have a brand new one here in our downstairs apartment :) We love you all bunches and bunches :) 

These are some pictures of our portable AC, it's an LG, (LP0820WSR) model portable AC with a hose/tube that goes from the AC, out our window. it's 8,000 BTU. we're gonna buy one just like this one :)
