A SWEET CHECK IN ON THE PLANTS! :) WE LOVE OUR GARDENS! :)
Happy monday, and a brand new week arriving, with some light rain in our area today :) my mom, dad, and i checked in on our plants today :) We're very proud of the plants, and gardens, and how well they are doing :) it's a really nice layed back, relaxing start to the week, with a peaceful monday today :) i've been sharing with my family, all of your beautiful comments, about our gardens, and plants :) We're very happy, and delighted, that everyone is enjoying seeing our 2014 gardens :) The plants are really taking off now, with some awesome growing :) it's flower power! and fruits and vegetables growing :) Earlier today, my mom, dad, and i were in our yard, and gardens, around mid-day, and we were checking in on the plants :) i said to my mom, "mom, smell those honeysuckle flowers, they are awesome!" :) my mom was so happy to smell the flowers :) they are blossoming beautifully :)
We've got some awesome blossoming going on, in our yard, and gardens :) Along with the honeysucklel flowers, we also have, these tiny little yellow star shaped flowers, blossoming, and our pink clover flowers are blossoming too! :) my dad and i were checking one of our gardens today, he said, "man! look at those clover flowers!" :) it made me happy to hear my dad get excited about the flowers :) We have about 10 clover flowers, that are growing, blossoming in the garden :) they were actually one of our very first sprouts of the season, after winter time, when it began to warm up just a bit, i think the clovers were sprouting up in early february, and have grown so nicely, and healthy too :) it's wonderful to see the blossoms, they add that spirit, and color to the gardens :)
my dad and i were checking in on our potato plants, and also our string beans plants :) my dad recently put some nice cherry clothe around some of the plants, that were getting eaten by insects. the plants are doing a bit better, most of the string beans plants look great, and also, with planting more yesterday, i think we're gonna have a huge season with the string beans growing :) my dad was admiring 4 of our sunflowers, that are growing in the sunflower field of hope and unfailing faith, our largest gardening area :) he said, "you got 4 huge sunflowers growing there" :) awww! : )these 4 sunflowers, 2 of them, are in the sunflower sun race, Sunny and Sunshine, are all natural sprouts, from last season, one of the sunflowers, or 2, must have dropped a few seeds in the garden, and they naturally sprouted up, and began to grow :) my dad said, "you may get a 14 footer to grow this year!" :) so cool, it would be, to see a sunflower that tall! :) our all time record, is back in 2008, when we grew a sunflower, 12 foot 4 inches tall, we also have had some, grow exactly 12 feet tall over the seasons :) those sunflowers, usually have a sunflower head, that is about a foot across :)
Back in 2002, we grew a sunflower, in my favorite gardening area, i remember that season, was the season i really got back into gardening, and really needed too also, because of my ocd was very bad back then, so getting back into the garden, nature, really is always so theraputic, and healing for me :) i remember that sunflower we grew that year, was about 12 feet tall too :) huge sunflower, that really inspired me to grow more :) We love those sunflowers, and all of our plants, that bring us lots of joy, and happiness :) my dad's been working on our yard a lot in recent times, and also got a new lawnmower he's working on, i was so happy to get to spend some time with my mom and dad around the gardens today :)
It's a nice peaceful day for the plants, after 2 full sunny days this past weekend, we've had a little light rain in our area today, which is nice, and replenishing for the plants :) our rhododendrums, continue to glow, here next to our front steps, just right outside my computer room window here, those happy flowers, blossoming beautifully :) our front yard garden, we're seeing so much sprouting going on, with nasturiums, cosmos, sunflowers, morning glorys, i think even marigolds sprouting up, which is so nice :) my mom and i were looking at the sprouts :) she loves the gardens, and is very proud of them :) our planters on the side of our front steps, are loaded with all kinds of flowers, and also our rose bushes, are gonna be blossoming soon too :)
The nature, and plants have really flourished over the past month : )tomatoes, peppers, and also some nice pumpkin plants, and gourds seeds :) the gourds plants, is a fun garden project, i wanted to try, by putting the planter over in front of my favorite gardening area, i just had a feeling if those gourds plants begin to thrive there, we could see them growing all around, that would be amazing! :) my dad mixes up some nice plant food, in these 2 huge gallon water jugs, i love to feed the plants with the nice plant food, about 2 to 3 times a week, i also am really thrilled about being able to give the gardens a full watering now too, it's that great garden working i love to get, on sunny warm days, with tending the plants :) i always wish you all could come over, to sit with us, by the gardens, and we could listen to the birds, and talking, and just enjoying the spirit of a nature day :) You all are always right here with us in spirit though, and we're with you all in spirit too :)
i want to make some more garden tour videos soon, especially of our front yard gardens, and also taking you all deeper into our gardens too, with a nice in the garden view, of the plants, on a nice sunny day :) i've began to see some butterflies visiting our yard, and garden, a few hummingbirids too, and it's really neat, thinking about how later on this season, when the sunflowers are blossoming, we may see some butterflies landing on the sunflowers, for those golden nature sight opportunities :) Summer is coming, and with the warmer weather lately, it's really feeling like summer season is arriving :) We're very excited, about all of these peaceful nature, and gardening joys :) i love to bring you all into our gardens with us, with my writings, pictures, and videos :) in my pictures today, i took some more pictures of our grapes, and raspberries too, which are flourishing nicely :)
We're enjoying a nice peaceful, and relaxing day :) my family and i are doing well, and are in good spirits :) i cleaned, and organized my computer room a bit today :) Today for lunch, i enjoyed 2 nice beans tortilla wraps, and some nice refried beans with cheese :) lunch was delicious! :) i checked in on the plants this afternoon, and also put a dvd on, star wars movie :) i've been enjoying some nice time on ds, writing to friends :) it's a nice peaceful start to the week :) Tomorrow is sweet treats tuesday :) We're looking forward to going to mcdonalds to get some treats :) i'm also gonna be doing some writing, tending the plants, and putting together treasures packages :) i'm so happy, all of the special joys each day, are very nice, simple joys, always are the most heart warming :) my family and i thank you all so very much, for all that you do for us :) You all are very special firends, and bring lots of great joy, happiness, peace, and excitement to our days, and our lives :) BIG GROUP WARM FRIENDSHIP HUG :) Tonight, i'm going to watch some tv, and a universe dvd :) There's many more great things to look forward too :)

I had lots of gardening today as well and wish I could do more each day. For me, I have such limited energy but I got out there for a couple of hours this morning and am happy with my accomplishments. My farm is doing BETTER than I originally thought--I was so used to the perfectly manicured yards of Guy that NOW I just need to look more closely! My apple trees are loaded, but I fear that a late frost got the peaches... Hmmm... Blueberries are HEAVILY FRUITED so now I just await the RIPENING!!! Noticed today a start on that so I need to ramp-up the effort to scare the birds AWAY from the bushes!!! Tomorrow is another day...
