we have a family emergency. my mom is having emergency surgery

Hi angel friends,  i'm gonna update this journal, including in the comments section throughout the evening. we have a family emergency involving my mom. she is having emergency surgery this afternoon, Alyssa works at the hospital,and is keeping us updated. my mom is having surgery to repair a hole in her stomach, and are trying to locate a hole in her esophagus. The surgery is scheduled at 3:30pm, to about 8pm tonight. the updates are coming in fast this afternoon,and all of our family has been notified. we're keeping positive, it's been a very rough, trying, and challenging day, since around 7:30am this morning. my mom began to feel unwell yesterday, her stomach, and had some chest pains. my dad drove her to the hospital this morning, they gave my mom bloodwork, tests, including a CT scan. they found a hole in her stomach and a tear in her esophagus, that's causing air in there to pull her stomach upwards. She was able to call us on Alyssa's phone, we told her we love her, and all is gonna go very well. the 2nd time she called, she sounded more positive, and Alyssa is keeping us updated, she works with the surgeon ,and says he's one of the best. my dad, Holly and i are holding down things here at home, and awaiting updates on my mom's condition. We had a plumbing issue here, that caused a pipe to leak on other side of our basement, it's a mess and dissaray down here, i've been using the carpet cleaning most of the day, Holly is helping out, we're doing drying right now. there was a clogged pipe on other side the basement, that we were able to take care of. We've had this happen before in 2023, we're in full dry/clean mode, and gonna get things back to normal, but most of all, we're hoping, and praying that my mom is gonna be ok, and that all goes very well with her surgery, and that she makes a  full healing recovery. we're worried, but are keeping positive, and we're so glad, thankful, and  relieved they found out the health ailment,so that they can help my mom. She's strong, she has lots of life to live, and is gonna make it thru this. my journals right now, will be updates on how my mom is doing.Thank you angel friends, for being here for us. please keep  my mom and us all in your thoughts and prayers. We love you all, our dear angel friends ,and are gonna keep everyone updated. i'm gonna be here on DS, also have my phone just incase anyone calls/texts. We're thinking of my mom.
