We are expecting

13 weeks and 2 days after giving birth to my beautiful still baby boy we got a 2nd line on a pregnancy test.
I always thought it was so weird how people would say "I'm expecting a baby "as if to say that there's a chance we might not have a baby.  Now after losing Kowen at 31 weeks  I completely understand that saying. I am expecting the arrival of a baby but there is no guarantee that I will be bringing home a baby.
We are just at the beginning of what could be a very long journey and I hope with all my heart that at the end we will bring home a healthy baby but unfortunately I know this pregnancy will be different than my others, it won't be filled with celebrations and planning and the naive thought that nothing will go wrong. It will be filled with worry, and fear, it will be filled with grief for my baby boy we lost and it will be filled with the hope that this time we can bring home a healthy baby.
We are expecting a baby.

As much as it is hard, you need to channel your emotions of fear, fearing as much as you will, is hard on your and your baby, I hope you carry full term and your baby is healthy and beautiful. Fingers, and toes crossed for you.
