WBC plummets
A week ago I was in the hospital due to my WBC plummeting and some type of infection. I went to the ER of Bethesda so sick and weak. I was really scared I wouldn't have the strength to fight. After three days of intensive antibiotics, the WBC count was up to normal and they discharged me. Saw my Oncologist on Wednesday and the WBC was down from Sunday, but still in the normal range. Everything is scheduled for my third and hopefully final infusion of R-CHOP.
I'm fighting depression big time. One day up and the next two down. Tried to play golf today and didn't have the strength or the patience. Came home after only playing two holes. Ant is losing patience with me too.
Hopefully this third round won't be as bad as the first two, but I'm not optimistic. Somehow I've got to survive these next three weeks. I now know why many people say the cure is worse than the disease.
