way to kick me when I'm down

So last Thursday we got the news that our IVF cycle failed and today AF came. I have never been in so much pain in my entire life. These cramps are so bad I threw up. I usually get pretty bad cramps but this is just crazy. I googled it and apparently it's pretty normal after a failed IVF cycle and other people who have experienced this said their doctor told them there isn't much to do about it. Nothing is helping, I've tried ibuprofen, motrin and midol and they didn't even put a dent in the pain. Didn't think it could get much worse after the BFN, but apparently I was wrong. Hoping this doesn't last long but a lot of people said it lasted between 3-5 days so gonna be a long week.

That is just awful! Why does nature have to be so cruel sometimes?! I hope you find some relief! Have you tried a heating pad/warm bath to ease the cramping?

I know right?? Yes, heating pad helped a tiny bit, drinking some hot tea and that\'s helping a tiny bit too. Took off work today and have been in bed pretty much all day. Go see doctor Thursday to discuss FET, so I\'m assuming I\'ll have to wait until at least my next cycle and mine can be up to 60 days so might be a while before we can try again :(

I hear good things about people\'s success with FETs. Keep the hope alive! My thoughts are with you...

Thank you! Trying hard to stay positive. My sister once asked me (not maliciously, just ignorantly) if this didn\'t work, didn\'t I think that was god\'s way of telling me I wasn\'t meant to be a mother, while she has 2 kids who were both conceived within 2 months of them trying. So I have that in my head. I set her straight and we\'re good now, I know it just comes from a place of ignorance but can\'t get it out of my head. On top of that, I am seriously struggling with my faith after going through all this. Sorry for emotional bomb but I have been a mess lol
