Way To Go Doc!
Got a call from my foot doctor's office today saying I had an upcoming appointment. I thanked the young lady and asked when it was. It was then that she said that their records showed that I still owed money from the first appointment and the second appointment couldn't be scheduled until I paid them. Now, it's not that they didn't get paid some money for it. Medicare paid a good part. A good part of what I owed was $125 they charged me to cut my toe nails. My hands aren't strong enough to do it myself and they haven't been cut since then. Bits and pieces have just broken off as they were snagged by my shoes or socks or when I stumped my toes. I'm beginning to feel like Howard Hughs. The only reason I can think of needing another appointment is to check for any more dead spots on my feet. Way to go doc, putting money before care!
