Watching my granddaughter play softball.

Went to a softball field today to watch my granddaughter (10) play softball.  This is her first year playing.  I was very proud of her - she played very well.  There are a couple little girls on the team that are very talented, especially the pitcher.  She has quite an arm on her.  Heard that her older sister is best in the state for her age group.
Climbing on the bleachers was not an option, too off balance.  Bringing our own chairs will be the best solution.  I will also have to watch where I put my feet walking from the parking lot to the field, gravel is a problem.  The late afternoon sun was quite uncomfortable.  I don't know if it was the heat or excitement that caused my meds to "wear off" early. That will be something to ask Dr. G. about at my next visit.  It was nice to get out and be around some new people.
All things considered, it was a pretty good day.  (Coca Cola 600 is this weekend.)
