Watched my nephew and my husband this past Father's Day

It was right before we left to go back home when my nephew wanted to put together his new train set.  He's really into Thomas the Train.  He asked "Uncle ___" my hubby to put it together for him.
I watched them together and I just could not help but have tears in my eyes.  He was so patient with my nephew and they just get along so well.  My nephew is 3 and really loves to play with my husband.  Mind you, DH is a big kid at heart and is aching for a child of his own.
Every year since my nephew was born, we celebrate Father's Day with my brother. I'm hoping that next year, we can celebrate the day at home.
I've been so frustrated with everything lately.  I've been annoyed with everything and everyone and I can't quite put my finger on as to why.
My donor coordinator called today.  My donor no longer has a cyst on her ovary and she's ready to start the Lupron and stims.  I'm excited, but I kinda don't want to get too excited.
I've actually thought about what life would be like without children.  I could not find the point to living as we are.  It would feel like a life of mediocrity and I don't think anyone deserves that.
I have a large dinner party tonight.  I'm a little too calm right now and I'm wondering why.  I also have a dinner party tomorrow....*sigh*  I am grateful for the business.  I have to get out of this slump and start being grateful again.  Its the second day of summer.  Why the long face?
I don't know what's up with me.  No one kicked my puppy, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to start the Lupron.  My last day of birth control is June 28 and we can start Estrace in another week.  Things are moving along.  Why do I still feel so "blah"?

Disguising nerves maybe? June blues? I\'m sorry you are feeling glum. Hoping you can get back in the swing of things soon.

I think it\'s hard to get excited when your trying again because you know it\'s possible that the outcome could be not what you want. But I am so glad you are trying again and trying a different option. I think it\'s exciting and I\'m excited for you. I\'ve kind of been in a slump to and can\'t figure it out but I think it\'s natural to have those moments every so often. But try to get yourself happy and think positive. Maybe take yourself out for a treat tomorrow after your appointment to kind of celebrate the start of a new chapter in your life. Hang in there!!
