Warm weather

Some of these writings will be for my own benefit at times, since I haven't kept a journal for a long time and I know that for my mental health and just overall well-being, it's always good to keep a journal. This is also helpful in seeing how I progress (or not) in certain areas that need working in.
Yesterday the weather was warm and although I had planned on spending quite a few hours out of the house my COPD kicked in where I had no energy at all. Things turned out pretty good though.
Around 11am knocking at my door woke me from a nap and was pleasantly surprised to see an old friend come by. I haven't seen Dave in at least 15 years so it was quite a surprise that he looked me up. Spent a few hours catching up on what we and any mutual Berkeley friends have been doing, went out for lunch then took a stroll through Union Square.
It looks like today will be a different story. My breathing isn't that good this morning, and last night on the Evening News they announced today as a a "Spare the Air Day" for the San Francisco Bay Area. That means for people like me with asthma and COPD, it's staying indoors during the daylight hours. Oh well, time to watch some old movies on Hulu and maybe play some games on the internet at home.
