Walking as Meditation
I have no certain idea what meditation is. But I know what walking is! Arnie and I are up to day 3 with our walk around the block. It takes about 20 minutes and there are parts with up hill steps for thudding in the chest and parts with downhill steps for flexibility and sure footedness.Koon emphasises routine to have me feeling secure and safe. My whole day is pretty much routine but its how I respond to the familiar that makes the difference. MMMM
coffee at Esquires on K Rd, morning tea in bed, toast and jam, dinner at night, meds with fruit juice.....
Morning pages.....I have nothing much to say but Koon says it will come more easily in a week or two. Saying nothing with ease and eloquence sounds OK by me!
300 words is the the doddle it used to be! I am not feeling manic so I cant rave on about plans and schemes...Im not so depressed that I want to describe the Big Black Hole....
I am maybe at a 3 1/2. Just another day? And yet no...there is still a chance of something new and interesting...maybe an email? or do my budget, or transfer money into my savings account...no do that on pay day.
My hair looks bouffy today. I like it when Ivan calls me Mrs Bouff. I like pet names.
Koon says to keep a track of ideas that are certainties. I have so few of them! How can my understanding of the world be 0 in the morning and 7 at night. Same world, same life-different interpretation.
Everyone who writes in here sounds like everyone else. Just the spelling and nouns and proper nouns may change but the pain is the same. And theelations come from the same source, too: The Infinite.
I began this then I lost it because I treated DS like windows and it doesnt work that way! So I have written at least 300 words in total. I will be a bit more organised and try to find a theme for tomorrow. Yesterday's was fog and confusion re meds and diagnosis so tomorrow's can be inspired by my walk....
