walking

I have had foot drop for one week now. I have not had this that long. It usually resolves after day 3 or 4.  I feel like it is here to stay. I usually feel a difference in my foot and can tell it is resolving.  No such feeling as of yet.  If I walk a lot, I get tired and it gets worse. If I rest it, it gets a little better.  I stand up to walk and forget that I have the foot drop and stumble a bit. Also my balance is off ...way off. I tried to stand for a while as I tire of sitting all the time.  I got so wobbly that I had to sit. I sway around and worry everybody that I am going to fall over.
I think that the doc won't see any lesions on my MRI's. I looked at them and then looked at what lesions look like online. I am not a trained professional. After looking at what lesions look like, I read up on them.  The last MRI was done on my first "flare".  From what I have read, that would be too soon for a lesion to form. A lesion is basically scar tissue that forms after a wound is created. My first flare would have made a wound. I think I will ask the new neuro to do another MRI now. If there are no lesions by now, I think perhaps it isn't MS.  Just don't know what it is that is giving me these awful symptoms. My neuro said maybe migraines...but migraines leave lesions too!  Ugh! What a tangled web...
