I went to Hanger today and it was pretty ugly.My stump has shrunk unevenly the top part is still big and the tip is little.What I thought was a muscle that was cramping is accually the bone rubbing against the skin.We also discovered that there is a good 3 inches between the bottom of the socket and the tip of my stump.He cut some holes in the hard shell to give me some more room.He has started the paperwork on getting me a C block

what is a c block. I to have a serious problem with my bones rubbing against the socket hurts like heck.
Stephen & Sandy: It sounds like you both need totally new sockets and possibly alignment changes? Go back to your prosthetists and ask them about this! :)
