Walk on By...
Ok I have been keeping my commitment to walking every day. I went to the doctor last Monday, had lungs checked and ekg. He gave me a prescription for Meridia. My insurance does not cover it. So I decided to wait and see if I can get the food under control without that jump-start. He said that my breathing is labored because of the added weight. So just do it. Walk every day. I miss my baby Yoda-Mae, she was a slow walk, but little walks that I have to make up for. So I have been taking out the trash twice a day now. Two more walks downstairs. I had the talk with Al. He emailed me a lovely note, thanking me for my time and all we shared. He is a gentlemen. Just not for me. Ok into the shower and out for a brisk walk. Today its windy and in the 50's. Brisk, Beautiful and Sunny. Life is good! Luv,Ree

Hi Ree. I wish I had the energy and determination to walk daily. It is not a good idea for a woman alone to walk in my area. I used to go to the mall and walk inside, but now the mall is not too safe. I get some walking in Walmart tho, lol. I hope you have a good day. Kudos for having the talk with Al. Honesty is always the best policy, but it sure is lonely, all by ourselves, isn\'t it?
Love ya girlfriend...Julia
enjoy this beautiful weather. Good luck on LWA (life without Al). Wasn\'t meant to be. There\'s plenty of other fish in the sea (ahh I mean pineapples). Love, K
I just read a quote today by Martin Luther King; \"Don\'t look at the whole staircase, just one step at a time\" Where have we heard that befour? Good for you, keep walking your heart will thank you! Blessings, Sandy
PS. I\'ll be singing that song for the rest of the day!!!!! Walk on by!
Keep up the walking. Baby steps will get you there. Don and I walked this afternoon with a few stops here and there. Angela
You will do it i know Ree.... I can\'t walk a lot by myself and with the weather starting to hit the North country hills it\'ll get even iffier. I\'m there in spirit I know you\'ll do GREAT!
Am proud of you for walking and sticking to it......seems like developing a routine is sometimes harder than actually DOING what we need to do....
Think it was sweet that you and Al separated on Good Terms....says a lot about both of you...
Love your avatar!
Also, am hooked in True Blood.....still haven\'t picked up the second book in the series as I do know some of the things that are coming up, and frankly, would prefer seeing the series, THEN reading the book.........;-)
Big hugs, dah-ling, and do hope you begin feeling better....
