Waiting... and starting The Devil again

So last week was a serious downer with the start of AF after an unsuccessful IUI. I cried. I withdrew. And I have pulled myself up, brushed myself off, and am ready to start all over again.
And now, it's this week. I'm waiting for a call from the clinic to talk to the nurse about this month's instructions. Waiting is not easy for me. I was the kid who interrupted conversations, snooped for presents, and nagged my mother when cookies were in the oven. (I've got a handle on those particular situations now). Patience is still not my virtue, though, so what a cruel twist of fate that I'm going through all of this. Waiting. I feel like Austin Powers when he's trying to turn that small vehicle around in that small hallway by making a one MIL-lion point turn! 'Not really going anywhere.
So now, it's time for some action. Anything to focus on that isn't TTC-related, please. Especially since I'm starting Clomid again today. Or, as I like to call it, The Devil. My wonderful husband has been... well, wonderful. I started redecorating our bedroom last spring, but never finished it due to cashflow. I quit a stressful job (convinced that THAT was why we couldn't conceive), and went a few months without work. When I was offered a job I knew I would love, it turned out to be with less pay, but I took it due to the love. And then fertility treatments, a new roof, furnace and a water heater were added to the financial table. Regardless, he had been saving funds and surprised me with the rest of the room budget so that I can finish the project and have something to do to take my mind off all this TTC craziness. I love him. I almost love decorating as much as I love him...so extra points to DH for this!
I'm off to re-upholster a chair.
Peace, Love, and (above all) Hope.
