waffle house and chinese with j//dinner at k's//bid on property 1/2 acre and house, we'll see
ate a half pint of dark chocolate gelato and am feeling kind of ILL from it right now. lol. guess that was dinner.
went to lunch with j. favorite chinese place. yay! had wan ton soup (their's is the top) shrimp and lobster sauce with chop sticks. love those things. and drinks. we also had boneless ribs. all the stuff i should never eat. its really nice in there though, not your typical chinese. odd to be out with j without another theme like the museam or the kids.
k submitted a bid on the house by the woods. the woods are preserved and a 50 x 150 area, so add another quarter acre with a retention ditch, should work well for animals, that's a half acre and its not in the middle of nowhere. the best deal is still the first one that was over an acre. i haven't checked that one for him again yet. i think it went up for sale and then the bank refused it. at least he is actually bidding.
rw came by because he wanted me to know that in sanford, a woman is getting a bigger facility for the animals all through donations and its huge. i said to rw. i don't want a big facility. i want the LAW changed. that is why i'm looking in washington, d.c. as well. pretty soon i'll be too old to be around the legal process without having a heart attack and even if we get any law changed, a president can come along and change the law back. that is the problem with usa. presidents historically were NOT allowed to do that. its only in the passed 30 years that they gave themselves permission to do that. its imperialistic. ditto with voting themselves raises in congress, instead of the money going to the people and a raised minimum wage. its like the country is being taken over right before our eyes.
so k called saying, the property may not work out because he doesn't like the front stairwell. then called again and says, he went over the property with a helper and it looks like its fine. but he knows i won't live there. whatever we get for the animals i will be camping out for the first couple of months that the animals are there. i know how to camp. its a 3/2 house anyway. it will also depend on neighbors for what we do with it. if the neighbors aren't animal friendly, we can't use it.
had dinner at k's. we watched "ship of fools" which he loves and i only liked if i had the computer in front of me to keep me occupied, in other words i hated the movie. its a cruise ship full of prejudice people in the year 1933, and all the crap they say about each other. awful. then i have to get on the phone and talk to sh, and hear more stuff like that in real life. yuck! i got pissed. i'm a communist, i don't believe in hierarchies at all.
at k's, we had veal, which i'm against because of what they do to the calves. its disgusting. i'll write that another time. and veggies. and bourban with gingerale. and coffee with bailey's and some kind of organic muffin, which k made and was actually good. its amazing when people know how to cook. k's new microwave has a sensor in it and goes off by itself when the meal is cooked, with or without a timer. wow!
i picked him up desert plates at the church sale. he's needed them for MONTHS and they had red stoneware at one point at the dollar store and i didn't get it. next time i was there, they were gone. that was like a year ago. so they had country french blue at the church, i figured, close enough. lol. its plates. done. also crunched the numbers for him if he flips the real estate or keeps it. he's bid on other pieces and we haven't gotten any of the bids. ditto with my neighbor bidding for the passed two years. foreclosures aren't as easy to get as they seem, even when you bid full amount. its a gamble.

also discovered the grey cat, that is having troubles and too skinny. lovvvvves my neighbor\'s dog. you never see that. it rubs up against the dog. i\'m stunned. this cat wasn\'t raised with dogs. the cat gained weight. i gave it some dewormers. and i have another one to try called praziquantal, so i\'m hoping that is it. also did a different flea med. its scary not knowing what to do. so odd they are so friendly though. w thinks that his dog thinks this grey tabby is the same as the grey himalayan that died a couple of years ago because that one was also great friends with his dog. i\'m amazed though as cats rarely take to dogs so completely like that. they are best buds.
