work

I have worked for 2 weeks and one day it has been an eye opening expereance!I can operate all the equipement ,frontend loader,spreader box and a dump truck.I am still using one crutch the distance of my walking gets greater every day.Inthe last 2 weeks my stump has shrunk more then the intire time I was out of work.I have an appointment with Hanger prostheic monday to see if they can make some changes to my socket.Hopefully they can get rid of some of the pinch points.I take a lunch pail to work well while walking on crutches it throws me off balance so I ask one of my co-workers to carry it in to the building for me.Only one guy has been a prick about it other then him everybody else has been stelar.My son whom has returned after spending the summer in Dayton Ohio has for the most part been good.He wants every thing he sees ,speed skates,new X box 360 games($50.00 a pop)so he has been hearing a lot of no's.You see last year instead of being a dad I tryed to be his best friend well he did not pass to the 6th grade by the numbers he passed with a D- so I retained him hopeing that he will learn his math skills.We have started doing more together instead of his spending all day either on the computer or playing his X box we are doing yard work fixing the fence and generally fixxing up our home in the begining he fought it but now he looks almost forward to helping
