vital to remain active

Hi journal,

I've come to talk with you.
This is a follow on from my last journal entry.

There are times when I over do things,
as in doing too much.
In as much that I have to remind  myself that,
I am sixty three years old and that I travel,
with this confounded imposter, we call
Parkinson's Condition, and I tell myself,
that I'm not twenty five years old.

Yes I am learning to pace myself these days.
Yet I have to say this does not mean I have
stopped doing any of my activities.
Indeed certainly not.
I think, feel and believe, that it is vital, to be active
and, to remain so, maintaining this attitude ongoing.
It is vital to be active , I say again.

Having adopted this attitude has seen me through.
This, along with my positive attitude, self belief and,
mental strength, together with total commitment
(nothing less will suffice) allows me to, at the least,
to enable me to, maintain a wining position.

As to motivation.
With dopamine being responsible for movement,
it is also responsible  for motivation.
Also I think, feel and believe that,
self responsibility must figure in this too.

It is of little use sitting down waiting for something
to happen, doing this serves no useful purpose,
much better to be pro- active and to have a go at things.

As dopamine is responsible for movement, it is also
responsible for motivation.
Depression too can come under this umbrella.
So one needs  to take on self responsibility and,
go harder at motivating oneself.
It is not easy I know, yet it can be done.

With practice, it can become a positive way of life.

This is much better than sitting around waiting for,
a quick fix which is not coming.
I encourage my peers to take on self responsibility,
and just get on with it.
It serves no purpose and gains,
nothing  to be otherwise.

There are three ways to manage and deal with

Parkinson's Condition, they are
1- attitude
2- attitude
3- attitude
and best make it positive because negativity,
will not bring you through.
MAINTAIN A WINING POSITION.
