Visited Nursing Home Today
I went to the local nursing home today and visited my sister. I visited a couple of other patients as well. One of my good friends there has pneumonia and he was asleep so, I did not wake him. My sister got to go to her daughters yesterday and spend Christmas with her and her kids. Her two sons have no children.
Three of my grand-kids stayed all night and played with my new pup. They had a ball. I took them out for supper this evening before my wife took them home. I love my little grand-kids more than they will ever know. Some of my grand-kids I don't get to see anymore. I have a great-grand-daughter, I have never seen. That is sad for me.
Hope everyone has a happy and safe week.

Grandkids are a sweet addition to life....I watched my two teenaged grandsons eat at Olive Garden as if they were at a feast....they have never been to Olive Garden which was hard for me to believe. I loved watching them enjoy their food. I am glad you got to spend some time with the grandkids...maybe one day the others will arrive on your door step....hugs, dale..brandon\'s mom
Sleep overs can be a lot of fun with the grand kids, I use to go way out when I had them more and build them a giant tent to sleep in with their little flash lights and treats. It was fun!!!! I\'m sorry you have some that you don\'t get to see, it is hard . I\'ve had mine taken away from us a number of times for long periods of time. Then their parents would decide they needed us again for babysitting so then we were able to see them again. Thank Goodness our dear Lord can take care of them for us when we are missing them sooooo. That was great that you could go to the nursing home. You do so many wonderful things for people. May God Bless you for your faithfullness to Him and so many others. In His Mercy, connie
