Visited Hospital today--led a man to the Lord
I visited a couple of friends at the hospital today. One was getting to go home today, praise the Lord. He has been there for 4 weeks. He fell off his roof, while cleaning out his gutters and broke the femur bone in his right leg.
The other friend I went to see, I have known for about 50 years. His wife was the pianist at the local Church of God here in town but, he did not attend that often. I went to see him because his daughter in law told me he was in ICU. When I got there today, he had been moved to another floor. I talked to him for a while and told him I was glad he was better. I also told him I didn't want him to die for a while. He said he did not want to die either. When he said that, I asked him if he was ready to die and he said, he didn't know, he hoped so. I asked him about his relationship with the Lord and he admitted to me that he just didn't understand all that much about salvation. I went through the plan of salvation with him explained it and he took my hand, we prayed together and he accepted the Lord as his savior. When I left his room he had tears in his eyes and a smile on his face. He thanked me and thanked me for coming to see him.
This man is 77 years old and no-one had ever told him how to accept Jesus or how to be saved, or anything. That is a terrible shame. There are 8 churches in this town of 1200 people. This man has lived here all his life and not one Pastor had talked to this man about his soul. I am glad I did!!!!!!! So is he!!!!!!!!!!!

PRAISE GOD THAT YOU WERE THERE TO LEAD THIS MAN TO THE LORD AND NOW HE IS SAVED. HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!! GOD ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND HE MADE SURE THAT YOU WERE ABLE TO TALK TO HIM AND NOW THE ANGELS ARE SINGING IN HEAVEN FOR ANOTHER SOUL HAS BEEN SAVED. THANK GOD ALSO THAT YOUR OTHER FRIEND IS FINALLY BEING ABLE TO COME HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL. THATS A LONG TIME TO BE THERE AND RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS TOO. YOU ARE SUCH A WONDERFUL MAN OF GOD AND SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND TRUE FRIEND. I PRAISE GOD FOR YOU PEEWEE.
