Video shows brawls at Vegas dayclub over weekend

In TMZ's report, multiple brawls took place around the pool Sunday. The video also showed people exiting through a door that had been ripped off its hinge.The dayclub event on Sunday was promoted to feature rapper Chris "Ludacris" Bridges.It was not clear what led up to the brawling.Officer Larry Hadfield, of Las Vegas Metro police, said the only call made to Metro regarding the Rehab pool area on Sunday came about 3 p.m. on reports of overcrowding. Additional officers were requested, but Hadfield said there were no reports of arrests or injuries.When reached on Monday, the Hard Rock Hotel gave no comment regarding the incident.Randy Sutton, a former lieutenant with Metro, said he wasn't surprised by the video. He said that's often what happens when you combine large crowds with alcohol."There are certain events that take place in Las Vegas that come with a certain element that creates and environment where misbehavior takes place," Sutton said.Several dayclubs and nightclubs around Las Vegas promoted celebrity-hosted parties during the weekend of the high-profile Mayweather-Pacquiao match."No one was arrested in this case because they just wanted to break it up and they didn't want to emphasize what took place, and if the video wouldn't have been placed on a national website no one would have known about it, which is just the way the hotels prefer it," Sutton said.Copyright 2015 KVVU (KVVU Broadcasting Corporation).
