so the name they are set on if its a girl is "louna" which is a top 20 name in france, so that is where it came from, its NOT rowanda. lol. so surprised its always so distant when its him and its always been like that. the girls are like, i think they said rowanda. and i'm like WHAT? and their brothers' are cracking up. its not. it used to border on him bullying everyone around him making nasty statements (what is that?), until he found out everything is being divided equally between all of them, we changed that YEARS ago, so now its just distant with him. and its always been like that. his wife is eleven years older than him, so its good they decided to get pregnant now. don't know what to think though, should bullies have kids? probably not. what are people born bullies? seriously, i think they are.
so, a's latest is he wants to borrow money to go out to dinner for t-day with his wife - he is the a that is living in a hotel and waiting on his mobile and who's paycheck is already gone and he just got paid yesterday. i give up. could you make dumber decisions. his cell phone bill because they have "everything" is $125 when on metro you can get a $25 per month "unlimited everything" except internet, so why go so high. they make no sense. i'm like, no.
he's already going to dinner at a friend's the day before. so i check with the girls and i get a huge, people still cook for that? there is a public one south of here that is popular or you can do the race thing and go to multiple free ones. this is all new to me. i know jc's family does the same thing and that started from his father who is former military going to american legion for that every year and refusing the ones at home, which then became going to at least two, his at the legion and another elsewhere and then it sounds like it became a game. hmmm. there are 6 kids back then from multiple marriages and they all have kids and then their parents and jc is like, see its the only way to do it with that many people. so i said to a, the girls were surprised anyone cooks for that and said to go to the free ones as many as you can get to and leave donations if you want to. different generation - that's their view of t-day and they dress as casually as possible. before we started grilling (and we grill fish; or surf and turf we don't do turkey at all), we always dressed nice for t-day, but that's really going back - over 25 years ago.
we aren't traditional at all either, never was. i realized recently we have been grilling for all holidays about twenty-five years but it was always a mix, because some people DO still cook for t-day, but it seems like once they get away from that, they never go back to it. when i got back to florida, jc was the first one i ran into and they were doing the public races. i thought they meant racing, they don't. they meant public stuff and wherever they were volunteering IF they decided to that year. whole other world. some people claim that IS real thanksgiving and the other stuff is bullshit and gluttony. wow. i'm getting there slowly. before the grilling, i used to show up for dessert only, i've been a vegetarian most of my life anyway. then there are friends who cook and that is fun. if you see everyone that cooks for holidays it takes about a week to celebrate any holiday. but borrowing money to go out to a restaurant for a holiday is totally irresponsible, i was surprised he even said it. if i didn't know better i would think he was a gamblerholic because they do dumb things like that a LOT. i know js is working. no idea what b is doing and that should tie in with a, anyway. the weather is perfect to take the boat out if it doesn't rain and that would be typical for a holiday, but they don't always do that anymore. its raining all day today.
finished escape from memory, which was unnerving - too much action for me, it makes my blood pressure go up and stay up, and its sci fi. so now i have to find something very basic like an emily giffin novel to bring me back to calm, and average every day - or something funny like a junie b, if there are any i have missed. i know there is a zillion junie b books and i probably have read all of them. its like reading a comic book. NOTHING at all going on. it rained alllll day and i slept almost 12 hours which i know i need to do because of the injuries and the low hemoglobin. went down to the marina for a little while with a, but its realllll quiet down there.
