Video Games vs Movies vs Opera

I'm almost halfway there!  I'm discovering it is a challenge for me to find entertainment outlets that are not so time-consuming. Video games can be so open-ended and/or require such an investment of time for an ultimate sense of completion.  That is one of the reasons why they can be so destructive and addictive.  You have to play one for a long time to a) get good enough to complete it and b) get to the end of the story at all. Movies are a little better, in moderation.  One and a half hours to two and a half hours sitting to watch a movie is better than hours and hours and hours at a video game (sometimes 6-8 hours in one sitting, and still not finishing it, having to put it down and waste even more hours another day and another, and if it's a well-made game, more hours still until the end).   I went to see opera with my wife last night.  That was entertaining and was a good 2.5 hours of entertainment.  That was about the only fun I had that evening, and I'd say 10% of my day towards fun is moderate / fair. It just can't be video games, because I know I can't be moderate with those.
