i will always miss miami. but we were all the way north in miami, just over the line in broward, so not quite the accents, like sal-mon for salmon, but also not the hick of "fort lauderdale" which they go over in the 25 things about miami. the truth is they say "broward" as in the county. and its more of a joke. "be there at 5" means, not before six, doesn't really mean 5. and start getting ready to go out for the night at 10 p.m. is normal. actually that was still normal until last year.
nothing much happening. i'm all aches and pains which should mean rain. we need it. got nothing done. got home late - around 5 a.m. and woke up early then went back to sleep. still pruning. we get like five "falls" here, so calling autumn fall is just dumb. plan to do billing tomorrow.
washed the car. yay. got a new baseball cap at the town stores, its pink with glitter and grey writing. i never liked baseball caps until this year. started a new book. ivanka's autobiography. went to arby's with a. really need to not eat that stuff, though i like arby's. finally started the rescue manual. hope i write it through, everyone has bugged me for one of those for like 9 years and i give people copies of stuff instead. they want things in basic english.
the orange cat up north showed up and ran into the door, i am guessing on purpose. it went to the slider, so i fed it. glad its alive. wasn't sure. the white cat is also around. haven't seen ubu, but he only shows up once per week, so someone else is feeding him for quite sometime now.

so i fall asleep on my deck last night, as i got home fairly early around midnight, so reading the newspaper and sleeping, ultimately the moisture/humidity/dew makes you get cold, it wakes you up and you go inside (basically still asleep). at some point whacko girl walked by talking. wish i was awake for it. she is telling a person that she did all this thinking her landlord would \"buy\" this house where i live, and rent it to her - which is when she started getting completely bonkers on this harrassment thing and going into the driveway and trying to get into the car...wtf?
the house her landlord would rent to her is the small one behind w\'s house, this house isn\'t even for sale and if it was it\'d be $300,000. she says she doesn\'t want the small house behind w. if she can\'t have this house, then she wants to be a few streets over by the fire department because its more private, as you only have neighbors behind you and nothing across the street. and her friend is saying, i thought you were moving to south dakota to make real money? if she is young enough, WHY in the world doesn\'t she, she has no ties here. she isn\'t even from this country.
g claims that someone else offered her a rental as well. (probably someone else she was harrassing. grrrrr). they are trying to get rid of her. wonder how many people she is doing shit to? my guess is, the entire neighborhood. its going too far.
i still think j is right and she is doing all this on purpose to try to get herself deported and a free plane ticket back to her country. its either that or she is a total nutcase.
Frita is a Cuban dish with a seasoned ground beef patty (sometimes mixed with chorizo) on Cuban bread topped with shoestring potatoes, lettuce, onions, and a spiced ketchup sauce. A similar dish on Cuban bread is called pan con bistec (bistec de palomilla) topped with the shoestring potatoes.
This type of burger is found mainly in South Florida. These are really good.
This burger is usually washed down with a batido de trigo, a Cuban puffed wheat milk shake.
