Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), families are allowed 42 absence days per child, per financial year. These can be taken for any reason, including public holidays and when children are sick, without requiring families to provide documentation. While we understand that this can be inconvenient, Community Kids is committed to maintaining a healthy environment and reducing the risk of infection for all children. As your child prepares to head home, this is your opportunity to speak with our friendly educators about your child’s day and everything they learnt. We’re also building supported inclusion schools to give kids with disability greater access to education and enabling some to attend a school closer to home. Every government specialist school in Victoria has had funding for an upgrade since 2015. This investment is providing fit-for-purpose specialist schools for Victorian students.
As an educator, you play a huge role in developing children’s beautiful minds and shaping them to be amazing people when they grow up. Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and is catered to children from as young as 6 weeks, to 6 years of age. We deduct this credit from your fees, so you'll only need to pay for the cost of day care. To support our families, we offer both permanent and casual enrolment options.
