Vet Visit
Took Foxy to the vet this morning. It's been a long time since her last visit. There was good news and bad news. The good news is she's in pretty good shape. She's lost 7 pounds and her heart's good. The bad news is she's developing cataracts. She was a little stressed, but she hadn't been to the vet in quite a while. After we left the vet, we went to Petsmart and I got a her special treat,,,pig's ear and a new I.D. tag since my phone number has changed. So this morning was devoted to Foxy. My disability check for 5 months came in handy. Now, I've got to get to the doctor.

Foxy sounds like a really great friend! Glad you got some good news. And at least the bad news isn\'t fatal. That was nice you got to spend some quality time with her too!!!
My Pekingese,Freddie,is 15 & has cataracts,& is about deaf.I began swinging my arm to the side when I called him in from the yard & now he looks @ me for that signal.Also put a blinking LED collar on him @ nite so I can see him in the yard.Lighting his way w/a flashlight also helps him.
Foxy is lucky to have you and she sounds like a really wonderful dog. I used to love taking precious to petsmart he loved it. I think dogs are the sweetest most loyal friend ever. hugs ,Bunch
