Very Sad Funeral
I did the funeral at 10:30am this morning. It was the saddest funeral I have done in 35 years in the ministry. He was 52 years old, died due to choking on a meat ball. The EMT's tried to dislodge it and the ER people used a scope and they still couldn't save him.
Relatives, his sisters and mother, clung to the casket, weeping and heart rending moaning, clutching the casket, not wanting to let go, kissing and talking to the deceased, etc. I have done a lot of funerals but, none like this one.
I received a lot of good compliments from my message. I done my best to bring comfort to the family.
It is so hard for families to face something like this but, it seems more tragic, especially around holidays.
Please say a prayer for the Pasley family.

I will pray for the Pasley family. It is a shame what happened; he passed away over a lodged meatball so simple. The family must be heart wrenched and so sad especially now at Christmas. God bless you this Christmas.
