first i gotta say thank you to all you guys, if I could I would give each and every one of you a big old Charlie bear hug. Having people who live it everyday in my corner makes me smile and gives me strength. By the way never have quit and never will.
Now down to business. Called my Doc today cause as we all know poopin g your pants really sucks and obviously what he is doing is not working for me. Anyhow I talked to his secretary, who is awesome by the way, and she said he is not in so I asked if I could leave a message. Well what she meant by not in was not in Michigan, not a member of Marquette General and no longer employed there. She said it was circumstances beyond his control, like bowel incontinence is out of your control, like projectile vomiting is out of your control. Dont get me wrong he was a great doc and I hope all is well with him but a phone call would have been nice. Maybe this is a blessing though cause what he was doing wasnt working so maybe his replacement will be another breath of fresh air. hope is alive once more, 1:00 on tuesday may be the answer to my prayers. Until then, patience grasshopper patience.

She gives a New meaning to not in LOL. I get a new doctor nearly every time I go. So each time I have to go through my history, get a lecture about smoking, used to be about my weight. God knows what they will lecture me about once I give up smoking, which I Will do once I reach my goal weight (which is only 6 lbs away). Anyway I hope this new Dr will give you some much needed answers. Take care
What a bummer but with a new dr comes new ideas and maybe changes in meds that work or at least some answers. Today I had the processed food lecture, upped the asacol and started prednisone. But its a good thing cause I do not want to be in the hospital for anemia. Been there, done that. Keep good positive thoughts, put on a meditation tape and good luck. Mary

That was so unfair of them to not tell his patients ahead of time that he will no longer be there, but like you said, maybe it\'s for the best. Hopefully your new doc will do something different that really works!!! Good luck!!!!
