very confused

HI All,

Well this time of year is usually very depressing,  with the cold weather, snow and longer nights  It is easy for me to get into a depressed mood.   Not to mention the holidays.  Thanksgiving hits me worse than Xmas.  I don't celebrate  Xmas,  I'm Jewish.  Chanukah happens to begin on the night of Xmas Eve this year.

I have a job opportunity,  I went to a job orientation last Thurs at Goodwill. They want me to be a merchandise processor.  They gave us a tour of the store, I noticed the area that I would work in is a back room,  kind of cold and the workers there didn't look happy at all.   I wouldn't be working with the public, which is what I do now.   I told them I'd start on Dec 26th,  but I am thinking about whether I want to work there.   I didn't tell Home Depot yet,  I want to explore other options.

I am feeling very stressed about this whole thing and don't feel I have anyone to talk to.  I am going to see if I can get back into counseling.

I have an eye doctor appt on Mon.   hopefully the eye glasses won't cost too much.
